About Us

Ace Loos is the rebranded, new look portable toilet business which was established in 1996 under the name of Ace Liftaway Sanitation Services.

At this time, its primary purpose was to complement Ace Liftaway Skip Hire and provide a more complete range of products to our customers.  The business has grown and we now offer a large range of portable toilets products for construction.  We also cater for events, weddings, festivals with a variety of products to suit all needs.  For those extra special events we also offer our VIP range of luxury trailered toilets.

In 2013 Ace Liftaway’s directors, Philip and Melanie Liddell, celebrated their 25th anniversary in business and this has coincided with the rebranding of Ace Liftaway Sanitation Services to Ace Loos.

With its new look, but retaining its quality service and standards, Ace Loos can cater for all toilet needs leaving its customers confident that this is one area they can leave to the professionals!

  • Philip Liddell

    Managing Director
    Philip Liddell believes in constant reinvestment into his businesses to ensure that equipment, products and services are always being enhanced. 2013 saw Philip’s 25th Anniversary in business and he is still focused and determined to development and move forward within the industry as evidenced in the new, rebranded Ace Loos.
  • Ceri Salter

    Financial Controller
    Ceri Salter joined Ace Liftaway in 2002 and since then has undertaken training on bookkeeping, Sage software and AAT. In 2007 she was promoted to Financial Controller.

    Ceri is responsible for the day to day running of the Accounts Department and overseeing the company finances.
  • Rob Draper

    Operational Driver Supervisor
    Robert Draper joined Ace Loos as Operational Driver Supervisor in February 2016. Originally from Southampton but now living in Kings Sombourne, Rob was previously a self-employed Snap On dealer in the Southampton area.

    He is responsible for overseeing a small team of drivers and monitoring the smooth running of business in and outside of the yard.
  • Sam Graham

    Event Organiser
    Sam Graham, having worked for Ace Liftaway in the Control Office since 2013, has now joined the Ace Loos team as Event Organiser.

    Sam's new role means that she is responsible for answering incoming calls and taking bookings, building and maintaining relationships with customers, creating and sending their invoices and liaising with the rest of the team to organise deliveries, collections and services.
Family owned Ace Liftaway Ltd was established in 1988 by Philip and Melanie Liddell. In 2013 they have celebrated 25 years within the waste industry with a company which provides skips, roll-on/roll offs, grab lorries, tippers, tractor units and trailers, wheelie bins across Hampshire and Dorset.

As a result of the state of the art recycling plant which was installed at Yokesford Hill in 2008 they are also able to offer a wide variety of recycled products, ie, soils and various graded aggregates.

Whatever your waste requirements, Ace Liftaway are sure to cater for them.

    Started with 1 mini truck and 8 mini skips

    Expanded into roll on roll off vehicles and containers

    Relocated to Yokesford Hill & built a waste recycling and processing facility
  • 2007
    Applied and were granted planning permission to build the next generation waste recycling and grading facility
  • 2008
    Invested over 3.5 million in installing the waste recycling and grading facility

    New logo design unveiled

    Ace Liftaway Sanitation Services rebranded Ace Loos.

    Ace Liftaway celebrates its 25th Anniversary in business.
